Consultancy for a multi-national

We were approached to undertake the rapid development of a system to identify how a number of national businesses could pool information from incompatible in-house systems.

The first phase of the project involved working with a group of European business managers to define a means whereby information could be collected from twenty operating companies and collated to give a Europe-wide perspective.

For a variety of reasons a single networked solution was not viable, so the target system needed the ability to allow major partitions of the data to be checked out for lengthy periods for updating on satellite systems before being re-absorbed into the central database.

The system is currently deployed amongst senior managers and is being used to analyse and monitor the progress of product rationalisation.
